Hail Update

Phil's car is officially totaled. Poor car. It was my first new car right out of college. The right of passage car, ya know. We paid it off following Dave Ramsey's advice a few years ago and we have every intention of running that thing into the ground. We've decided to keep the car in its current state and just get the windshields replaced. No, it's not pretty but we don't care. We've worked a pretty sweet deal with the insurance that will allow us to do that and come out with cash in hand. Now we can get the house painted, which it desperately needs, and get our trees trimmed! We also are getting a piece of the side fence repaired this weekend.

We also had significant hail damage to our roof, which needed to be replaced anyway. A new roof will be put on in a few weeks. Looks like the hail has turned out actually to be a blessing in disguise. No complaints here!
