If you have a gmail account (and undoubtedly you do to have a blogger account, right?) then here is a super cool gadget Phil helped me put on my google homepage. Instead of spending large amounts of time checking everyone's blogs individually to see if a new post has posted, this gadget will display the newest posts for you to read from blogs you tell it to. Technology and Phil, a winning combination.
Here it goes:
On your google homepage, in the very upper left list (all the way at the top of your homepage, starts with word Web), click the down arrow and choose "Reader". In the left hand menu click "Add Subscriptions". Now, here's the time consuming part - the set up. Step 1: Leave "Google Reader" open and in a new window go to the first blog that you want to track. In the url address line for that blog, click on the orange "subscribe to this page" logo that is at the end of that line. Clicking on that icon will take you to the "rss feed" page for that blog, basically a stripped down listing of the blog posts. Step 2: cut and paste the url on the rss feed page (it will look something like: http://movingbeyondmyself.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default ) and paste that into the blank line in your "Add Subscriptions" window in Google Reader. Ta - da! You've just started tracking that blog! Now, continue adding subscriptions!
The first time you go to your google homepage the Google Reader will display all blog posts in all your blogs - assuming you haven't read them all. You can click "mark all as read" and start tracking from today.
If you have any questions - ask Phil. :)

I, too have discovered the wonderful gift of Google Reader! It's great! The only thing is that I read the posts quickly, right then and I tell myself to go back and comment later (kinda like I'm doing now), but it's easy to forget.
